Dear Parents,

We have another BIG meet coming up on our calendar that we hope everyone chooses to participate in. The meet is CASL City Meet, our league championship. This meet is Friday, July 8th, and Saturday July 9th. You will sign up for the events you would like to swim and pay your entry fees (much like District, but the fees are higher because we are not hosting). At this meet there will be prelims and finals. They keep team scores and award teams from each division that score the most points, and also award individual swimmers in each age group that score the most points. I will attach the meet information for you to read. City Meet is my favorite meet of the year. The Finals on Friday night and Saturday night are very competitive and the energy is crazy! I love going to this meet and I know you will too. We hope to get as many swimmers in this meet as possible so that our team really represents Calhoun well and shows the league how strong of a team we have down here! The meet is posted on SwimTopia for you to RSVP and select events. 

*Meet entries will be due by Monday 6/27 at noon. On Tuesday your number of events and relays will be posted. Payment for your events will need to be turned in quickly (by Wednesday) and can be paid online or in person to Calhoun Blue Barracudas. The cost to enter the meet is $20 plus the cost of each individual event ($4 each) and relay event ($2 each).
