We had a wonderful first week of practice! I’m getting to know each of the swimmers and parents and we have an amazing Barracuda family! Thanks for bearing with us, Coach Kim and I are doing our best, lol!

Reminder:NO MORNING PRACTICE on MONDAY. We have time trials Monday evening, that will be our practice. I have structured our volunteer assignments so that each family will be required to volunteer 3 times total over our 9 swim meets this season (8 CASL meets plus time trials). The assignment is based off swimmer's last name. We require each family to provide one non-swimmer volunteer to the meet assigned. If you are unable to volunteer at your assigned meet, email or message Coach Ogas with an alternate date that you can volunteer, or, (better yet) arrange a date swap with another parent and let Coach Ogas know.

Once you are logged in with your email/password, Click the green "Job Sign Up" box for that meet to select the position you want. Currently we have sign up open for our Time Trials meet on Monday, it is assigned for last names: Alexander - Gray. If that is you, please go in and sign up. Thank you so much for this. Some of you have already gone in and signed up to volunteer, so awesome job on that. We still have a few jobs left to fill, but a big thank you to all of you who took care of that already.

Next up is “swim meet declaration”. The process of declaring for meet participation is easy and it is oh so important! It shows if your swimmer will be participating in the meet and allows me to create an accurate heat sheet, build relays, and make sure all of our events are covered.

Please go onto our website now to declare your swimmer(s) participation for this Monday's Time Trials meet. Go to our website: https://calhoun.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

Once logged in, you can select the green box that says Meet Entry Open. You will click on that, then click Edit below your swimmer(s) name(s), and then declare if they are Attending or Not Attending.

Meet declaration must happen by 9pm the day before the meet. I apologize for initially saying noon the day of, but that deadline is actually too late for me to plan accordingly. 9pm the night before is much more beneficial. Please go in now and declare your swimmers participation for the Time Trials meet this Monday. Thank you!
